I know, hard to believe that Brad got up early. But he did, and he rocked it as the guest on Fox 19 Morning, previewing the Midwest by Southwest Tour presented by the Bunbury Music Festival.

Six bands on their way to Austin are worthy of a story, yes? CityBeat did a great piece this
week on the Midwest by Southwest Tour, presented by the Bunbury Music Festival. I have a soft spot in my heart for Mike Breen – his support of local music is virtually unmatched.

Brad, wearing both his ANP partner hat as well as his Sundresses hat, stopped by WVQC with Midwest by Southwest tour manager Venomous Valdez to talk about all things SXSW. Check out the interview on Soundcloud.

The premiere screening of Radius: A Short Film this past Saturday night marks a big turning point both for The All Night Party, and for Cincinnati musicians.

Why a turning point? The production of this film and the choice of the talent involved strongly aligns local original music with the arts. From launching Radius at MPMF, to sourcing music from ANP bands for the remixes, Radius offers a 360° perspective of how music licensing groups (ANP), digital agencies, sound houses and film studios can work together with Cincinnati’s people, to benefit the creative arts community.

ANP’s logo was one of the most prominent on screen during the film’s credits. I won’t pretend otherwise…I was pretty excited to see it, and very proud of the work we did to earn our space there. We are definitely honored to be one in a star-studded cast of companies that contributed to this film’s creation, including Possible Worldwide, Artswave, Sonic Arts and Lighborne.
