“It has only been a month since the internet waves lost the beloved WOXY. Just a week before it was shut down, it broadcasted many live studio sessions from bands at the annual South by Southwest festival in Austin. Those live sessions were very popular amongst listeners, known as Lounge Acts, and Cincinnati’s All Night Party (a Cincinnati music marketing, promotions, production guru company) is striving to maintain something in a similar vein right here in our city. The first of the series, called Ultrasessions, will feature The Guitars, and the ANP plans to hold these events on a Wednesday night, once a month. A live audience will witness an in-studio session, from which the ANP will create downloadable products and compilation albums.
